Dr. Abdelaziz Elamin Mohamed Professor, Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine, Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain

Dr. Abdelaziz Elamin Mohamed has graduated from Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum-Sudan (MBBS). He obtained a doctoral degree in pediatrics (MD Ped,1986), MRCP UK (1988), Ph.D. in endocrinology (Uppsala University Sweden 1992), FRCP London (1994), MAACE (USA 1998) and FRCPCH (UK 1999). During 1997-2006, he was an Associate professor in College of Medicine, Sultan Qaboos University Muscat, Oman and senior consultant in Pediatric Endocrinology , Sultan Qaboos University, Hospital. In 2007 he was appointed Professor in Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum. 2007-2009 he was the deputy director general of the university hospital in Khartoum (SUH). In 2010 he became the Dean Faculty of Nursing Sciences in University of Khartoum and in 2013 he was appointed as director of quality assurance and self assessment administration of the university . In 2014 he was appointed Professor and chairperson of Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine, Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain. From 1995, Dr. Abdelaziz is a member of the WHO-EMRO diabetes experts Committee.
