Dr. Aminur Rahman Internal Medicine and Neurologist

Dr. Aminur Rahman has graduated from Sylhet M.A.G. Osmani Medical College under the University of Chittagong. He has completed his MD in Neurology from the University of Dhaka and his FCPS in Internal Medicine from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), Mohakhali, Dhaka. He has been awarded the FRCP (Edinburg), UK. He has also been honored as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). He achieved his fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology (FINR) from the University Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland, and Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. He has published more than 54 research articles in reputed journals, both national and international. He has written three textbooks in neurology: Short Cases in Clinical Neurology, published by CBS Publishers & Distributors Pvt. Ltd., India; Neuroimaging in Clinical Practice, 2nd Edition; and Fundamentals in Clinical Neurology, 1st Edition, from Bangladesh. He works as an assistant editor of the Bangladesh Journal of Medicine and is also a member of the Journal of the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is an international member of the editorial board of the Journal of the Indian Medical Association (JIMA). He is working as the Publication Secretary of the Bangladesh Society of Neurology (SNB) and the Joint Secretary of the Bangladesh Society of Stroke and Neurointervention (BSSNI). He is serving in the health cadre of the Ministry of Health and Family Planning of Bangladesh. He worked as an Assistant Professor at different government medical colleges and hospitals in Bangladesh. Currently, he is serving as Associate Professor and Head of Neurology at Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
