I am a Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician with a strong educational background, including an MD and Master's degree in Nuclear Medicine from Universiti Sains Malaysia. I augmented my competencies with Fellowship in Nuclear Oncology and Radionuclide Therapy from the University College London Hospital United Kingdom and recognized as one of the Fellow of the Asian Nuclear Medicine Board. With over seven years of vast experience as a specialist at Institut Kanser Negara, my expertise in state of the art nuclear medicine imaging which includes SPECT, SPECT/CT and PET/CT for various oncology and non-oncology cases as well as radionuclide therapy like radioiodine therapy for thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism, PRRT for advanced neuroendocrine tumour, PSMA-RLT for MCRPCa, MIBG therapy for advanced neuroblastoma and inoperable paraganglioma and also palliative bone therapy using Samarium153 and Radium223. These expertise has been instrumental in advancing nuclear medicine practices in the era of precision medicine.
