Bassem S Wadie is a professor of urology. Born in 1967, he ‎graduated from the medical school in 1990. He is heading voiding ‎dysfunction/ Female urology & reconstruction unit in Urology & ‎Nephrology Center, Mansoura University, Egypt and is the current director ‎of this renowned hospital since 2017‎ His research interest extends over many areas of voiding ‎dysfunction; female urology, post-prostatectomy incontinence and ‎Urodynamics. He authored 2 theses. He continued his career with BPH ‎from the evaluation of BOO using ANN model to testing new technology in ‎treatment such as thermotherapy and Rotoresection. He devised a ‎technique for the treatment of post-prostatectomy incontinence.‎ He has over 59 international publications, a book and 2 post-‎graduate fellowships and has been a guest speaker in many foreign ‎countries including Indonesia, Qatar, Belgium and the US to name a few. ‎He is a reviewer for 20 international journals, served as a member of the ‎editorial boards of 3 journals and is a consultant to the NIDDK/NIH in the ‎field of female urology.‎
