Worked in Armed Forces Medical Services for 35 years before retiring in Jun 2024. Experience in Wilderness Medicine (deserts of Rajasthan and high altitude areas of Arunachal Pradesh). Research experience in High Altitude Physiology while in research centre at Leh. Physiology teaching experience gained at AFMC, Pune and ACMS, Delhi leading to academic and examinership recognition by MUHS and GGSIP university, Delhi. Gained experience while being at Army Sports Institute (Sports Sciences Centre) training and producing elite athletes and podium finishers. Employed as Exercise Physiologist, pari passu to being Prof of Sports Medicine at department in AFMC. Headed same department from 2017 to 2021. Post Apr 2021 assigned to be administrative head of 74 bedded hospital in Punjab.
