Dr. Kadircan Hidir Keskinbora Professor, Bahcesehir University, Faculty of Medicine

Born in 1959-Mardin, Keskinbora completed his primary and secondary education in Mardin. He completed his university education at Hacettepe Medical School. He became an expert in Ophthalmology in 1987, an associate professor in 1999, and a professor in 2007. In addition to Ophthalmology, he completed his second Ph.D. in “Deontology, History of Medicine and Ethics” in 2006. In 2007, he began to study at Tekirdag Namik Kemal University, as the Founding Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. In 2012, after completing the duty in Tekirdag, he was appointed to the Medical Faculty of Bahçeşehir University. He is still a professor at the same institution. He was awarded the International Avicenna Prize in France/Paris in 2016 for his works on Ibn Sina (Avicenna). He has published 15 books in the fields of Ophthalmology, History of Medicine, and Literature, at National and International Publishing Companies. He has published 16 book chapters in National and International published books and numerous articles in national (110) and international (82) scientific journals. At national and international congresses, scientific or informational meetings, universities, schools at various levels, and radio and television channels, he has held numerous events and speeches as a speaker, panelist, course instructor, or conference host. As a national and international scientific, social, and civil society organization member, Keskinbora speaks Turkish, English, German, and Arabic.
