Dr. Raghib Ahsan Nutrition Specialist

Raghib Ahsan is currently a Professor (Adjunct) of Public Health Nutrition at the Pundra University of Science & Technology (PUST), Bogura, Bangladesh where he teaches and supervises research works of the students of Master of Public Health (MPH) Program. Previously he worked as Chairman of the department of Public Health, and Executive Editor of Journal of PUST. He is authorized Reviewer of the TMSS Medical College Journal. He is also reviewer of online International Journal of Research and Scientific Innovation (IJRSI), India. Raghib Ahsan is a Bangladeshi medical doctor having specialization in Human Nutrition. He did his graduation in Medical Science (MBBS) from Rajshahi Medical College, MPH from Northern University of Bangladesh and M.Phil in Nutrition from the Institute of Nutrition & Food Science, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 1990 he worked as research student in the Iwate Medical University, Morioka, Japan. He attended several health and nutrition related conferences home and abroad. Raghib Ahsan, in most of his service life, worked in government institutions and after retirement, has been working in a private university. Since his youth, he has been engaged in teaching of Medical and Nursing students, in his field. Since 1997 he is actively conducting and participating in research activities in the field of Human Nutrition and Physiology. His area of interest, as a public health nutrition specialist, is also Women & Child Health.
