Dr. Elsayed finished his cardiology training in Egypt then had an attachment at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Hospital, USA where he learnt 3D Echocardiography under the mentorship of Prof. Dr Navin Nanda. Then did a clinical training fellowship at the Echocardiography Lab of Royal Brompton Hospital, London, UK, then at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham (QEHB), UK. His main interest is 2D/3D-Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography and interventional TEE. He has published in many international journals and conducted many 2D/3D-TEE courses around the world.
