I have been a Critical Care Physician for the past 50 years. I did MD in Anaesthesiology from AIIS Delhi in May 1977. Worked in AIIMS as a senior resident for close to 3 years and moved to TATA MAIN HOSPITAL as an anaesthetist in March 1980 and established ICU (Respiratory Care} there. I continued there for 30 years and superannuated as Gen Manager (Medical Services) in March 2010. I joined Apollo Hospitals Bhubaneswar in July 2010 as Chief Consultant in Critical Care and Anaesthesia and continued till 1st October 2019; then joined Sum Ultimate Medicare Bhubaneswar as HoD of Critical Care in Oct 2019 and continuing in that position now.
