My special interest as a Pathologist and a Molecular Pathologist is to use conventional pathology methods and also molecular methods (when applicable) for accurate diagnosis, testing for prognostic and predictive markers, mutations in oncogenes, tumour suppressor genes etc that can affect the treatment of patients (targeted therapy), facilitate preventive measures for the patient and family members, early screening strategies etc.
