Dr Dhaivat Shah (MBBS, MS, DNB, FMRF), stands as a young board-certified Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon. He embarked on a long-term Vitreoretina fellowship at the renowned Sankara Nethralaya Institute in Chennai. Presently, he serves as the Joint Medical Director and Head of the Vitreoretina Department, Research & Academics, at Choithram Netralaya in Indore. His academic portfolio includes more than 60 peer-reviewed national and international publications, and more than 5000 simple and complex vitreoretinal surgeries. He actively collaborates with esteemed organizations such as Orbis, Sightsavers, and oDocs, among others, on ongoing research projects. At Choithram Netralaya, he spearheads a unique Vitreoretina training program called "World of DKS," wherein he imparts invaluable diagnostic and surgical retinal skills to Ophthalmologists hailing from diverse parts of the world.
