A previously healthy 25-year-old delivery man presented with hyperpyrexia and chest tightness persisting for 22 hours, along with cough and expectoration. Upon conducting a case history inquiry, it was revealed that he had applied a homemade waterproofing spray (approximately 100 mL) to his shoes in a bathroom six hours before the onset of symptoms
