FDA Drug Updates
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a new class of drugs for treatment of migraine. This drug acts by targeting calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), whose levels are found to be elevated in blood serum during migraine attacks. The three approved molecules in this class are erenumab-aooe, fremanezumab-vfrm and galcanezumab-gnlm
